A quick & helpful guideline for photographers to help them choose models and how to find them.

Apparently last Saturday was World Drawing Day. So my real-life homies decided to get together to just...well.... draw.
Needless to say, I didn't know what to draw... Then it occurred to me that there were some characters that I had kept under wraps for a long time. So I figured I should unleash them. These 7 guys are my rendition of the Seven Virtues. It doesn't take a genius to figure this out, but it's obvious here that I was inspired by `Endling's rendition of the Seven Sins. Then there was the FullMetal Alchemist, where the baddies were the Seven Sins as well. With all the popularity going towards the sins, I asked myself, "What happened to the Virtues?". Yes, I did see such renditions, but I have yet to see their renditions as widely known as the Sins. All of Endling's portrayal of the sins were illustrated as girls, and I thought it would be terribly interesting to see if the other virtuous side would be the complete opposite; men. Hey! Gender equality, anyone? The Seven Virtues (along with opposing sin values) used here are (in no particular order): I was actually having a lot of trouble with how to portray Temperance. But thanks to my real-life homies and the inspiration juices hiked up during World Drawing Day itself, Temperance was finally formed and born! And with his existence, the 7 virtue brothers are finally complete. Of course, it will be hard to tell who's who, just from the face and design alone. I'm afraid that it is only their personality and behaviour that shows which brother represents a virtue. So.... try and guess which of them represent which virtue. >=3 The Seven Virtue brothers belong to me, ME, MEEE!!! You steal, I bite! Rar! |

Humility, Benevolence, Zeal, Patience, Temperance,Generosity and Valour?
You're right the virtues need more love. I've seen the deadly sins in several instances but the virtues are kind of downplayed. I can only recall one series right now where I remember them used...
Eh, the virtues were used in one actual series? What was it?

It's interesting to see that Humility and Benevolence seem easily recognizable. I'd have thought people might not recognize Ben.
As for Valour, heh, that's just simply obvious.

It's a book series called Keys to the Kingdom by Garth Nix. You've got the seven deadly sins, the seven virtues and the seven days of the week.
Gender equality wise, I would prefer both sides to have a balance of both genders actually. Cause some sins I think would be best portrayed in certain gender and so are virtues.

Actually, if there's gonna be any girl in the Virtue team, it would be Chastity. But my aim was to make 'em all men. I actually contemplated on making Chastity a man, what a riot it would have been. But for the sake of my sanity (and everyone else's), I opt for Valour instead.
