This is just a variation from the previous pic.

:iconhaohmaru77: suggested that a red sky would make it more dramatic. At first I shuddered at the thought of having to colour more... but then I realized that Adobe Photoshop has nifty features like Color Balance.

Of course, I manually re-coloured the sky and the clouds into that sunset shade - which really wasn't hard. :P The wonders of the Magic Wand Tool.

So basically, I re-coloured the sky and clouds, did some Color Balance and then I added another red-orange layer atop this pic to give it a more ... sunset atmosphere.

So, what do you guys think? Is this one more dramatic or better looking than the last one? Enlighten me! :D

Gotta admit this piece looks more dramatic. <:3 The first one looks bright and cheerful(the colors of course, lol). For some reason, sunset setting is always suitable for dramatic scenes, ya know, hero leaving after saving a town or city, lovey-dovey stuff, etc etc. ^^;

Your CG is getting better and better. 8D I still remember my first time CGing without layers and the hellish pain I went through to re-color after I found out some errors. You use layers now? :3

YES. It is a MUST to colour with layers. I don't know how I managed to survive those days colouring without layers....@_@;;

Hm. I wouldn't say I've gotten better. It's been .... AGES since I used any other colours apart from black, white and grey. :P
