Alternate title: Bring in the fireworks


The Not-Melanie gives Charcoal an explanation of what she really is.
Some of you might raise some eyebrows at this, because it related to a Main Story plot "Psychomachia". And you would be right to find this dubious.

Regardless the explanation, the Not-Melanie insists on escorting Charcoal to safety. But before they could get away in time, the Aberration finds them first.

Also, here, have a cliffhanger. Next 5 pages should be up by next week! :D

Wow, its so cool how you took such a simple random event and turned it into a surprisingly dark plot point! And I like how its... really darn hard to tell if the Not-Melanie really is what she says she is, or whether she's good or evil. I mean, its inherantly a dick move that she chose that face, but she did just push Charcoal out of harm's way. (Also I really love the effect of the enemy being the only thing in colour! You just get better and better at action scenes!!)
