Byako Round 9 - Cover

The cover for my Byako Round Robin Round 9; Setrina vs Dan.

Now what possessed me to do a coloured cover?? Well, I've been seeing many of the contestants actually putting colour to their entries. I've *never* done serious coloured comic pages for..... an eternally long time.

And besides, when I drew Setrina in that Fool costume, I realize how uncannily The Sun tarot card fits Dan so well. Inspiration struck, and a tarot-based cover would NOT be complete without colours.

I seriously doubt I'll colour the comic pages, much less grayscale them. In fact, here's to hoping that I could even ink the pages in time! @_@;;;

I jacked the poses and colours (except for Dan's costume) straight off from Penny Lovelock's illustration of the tarot cards. The comparison of the pics and the tarot card illustrations are shown here: [link]
